Were are excited to help you preserve all your precious memories! Please consider the below guidelines prior to submitting your media to Matt Roberts Media. If you have nay questions, please contact us.

PROHIBITED SUBMISSIONS

  • We will neither accept nor process content in any format that includes nudity. If your film or video contains nudity, the materials will be returned unprocessed.

  • We cannot process videotape that has been copyrighted unless express written consent is provided along with the submitted materials. Recorded television programs or movies are included in this restriction.

It is acknowledged that, at times, home video may have been captured on VHS tapes that were previously used to record television programs/movies. If there is a mixture of these on a cassette, only the home video will be processed.

  • We will consider submitted 35mm slides and film as containing images that you have the right to reproduce. If you are aware the images are copyrighted, please submit a signed statement of release along with your media.

  • We will not process materials that we believe are: threatening, profane, abusive, deceptive, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, slanderous, offensive or otherwise inappropriate, or could give rise to any civil or criminal liability.

  • We also will not process materials that could infringe on rights of privacy, publicity, copyrights or other intellectual property rights without the express written permission of the author (see the two previous items), or that advocate illegal activity, such as drug use.

  • Our goal is to receive, process, complete and return your submission as quickly as possible. We cannot be responsible for damage caused to your original materials, however, due to poor packaging or damaged caused while in transit to Matt Roberts Media.

If your materials are received by Matt Roberts Media in a damaged condition, you will be notified immediately for further instruction from you.

  • Older materials — particularly VHS and Video 8 tapes — do not always age well, and may break during the process of transferring your video from them. We will do everything possible to repair the tape in case of such breakage, but we cannot be held liable for such breakage due to the age of the media.
